About the author:
Yuri V. Yavorsky is an entrepreneur and industrialist. The owner of RIDA Security Holding.
He graduated from the Military History Faculty of the Military Academy in Minsk, Belarus. He served as a career officer. He retired to the reserve in 1993 and founded the company RIDA. He studied at business schools in Sweden, Japan, the USA, and England.
RIDA Security Holding currently produces products for personal safety – armored vehicles, impact-resistant and bullet-resistant glass, as well as various armored structures. RIDA celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2013 and is currently a family-owned corporation.
During his service in the Armed Forces, he was awarded the medal "For Distinction in Military Service" of the first degree.
In 2006, he became the winner of the International competition "Entrepreneur of the Year 2006", which was held by ERNST &YOUNG
. In 2010, he was awarded according to the results of the competition "Entrepreneur of the Year 2010" in the nomination "Efficiency and development".
He defended more than 60 developments and inventions for which copyright patents have been issued and which have repeatedly won first places at the Nizhny Novgorod Kulibin competition.
The RIDA family company has become the largest CIS company for the production of VIP armored vehicles and the largest in Russia for the production of armored glass of the highest protection classes.
Hobbies
Yuri Yavorsky enjoys traveling, billiards and table tennis, loves theater, historical cinema and fine art museums.
But he also has a passion for writing books. The books "The Art of Defending" and "Requiem for Friendship" have already been written, and "The Science of Winning for Aspiring Entrepreneurs" is being prepared for publication.
