Das Wort "Palimpsest" kommt aus dem Lateinischen und Altgriechischen und bedeutet "Schaben": Ein Palimpsest ist ein Manuskript, das beschriftet ist, die Schrift wieder abgeschabt/-waschen wir und wieder neu beschriftet wird.
